since i last wrote many events have danced through my life
the big change
the locking
of september into october
and now, to leaflessness
almost.
barb adams, a dear one from australia, came to the north country to visit along with nigel, her husband, we visited caliban, slu, lampson falls, the art gallery of ontario, and my little house in the woods. barb brought along the makings for my little bookish group to make a new structure.
and we are close to november, the month showing off the land’s bones.
i love this time.
i love the bareness.
i love the cool nights and warmer days,
today’s brisk rains,
and the heartbreaking thin sunshine on others.
over at MAIWA my may 2020 class is advertised (along with a huge selection of good classes)

i am also teaching at slu (st lawrence university) this spring semester: bookbinding.
and this saddest thing about htis post is how long it took me to publish
and once i was (finally) almost done
it vanished.
so i’m posting this now.
reverse POOF (i hope).
